SHERA'S BORDER

1. Thank God my off day fell on a public holiday so I can be home when my sister is home (I barely see her when I'm working) and our whole family can have dinner together.  Also thank God for a good boss who didn't request me to go back work today because it was a busy day. 2. Thank God I'm healthy where I can cook for my family and help out with chores around the house. 3. Thank God for the cool comfy rainy weather. 4. Thank God Ah Po still can walk on her own and go out with us.  Thank God for good parking spaces whenever I bring Ah Po out.  I KNOW these are NOT coincidence. 5. Thank God parents back from Marudi trip safely and heard stories of how they had a good time there. 6. Thank God for parents' close friends esp Uncle Choo Sin and Uncle De Xin family who occassionally drop by our place to hang out with my parents and giving us lots of joy and laughter and good company. 7. Thanks to Xing Khai & Ai Thing for coming back, we made a rare visit (for me) to the beach.  Sunset was breathtaking as usual.  Miri has the most beautiful skies. Before that we went for durian cendol.  Too cute I couldn't resist taking his picture. And with that ends my 3 days off.  Got half of the things on my list done.  Good enough. Ready to work~! ^^

We were worried seeing a beehive on our mango and decided to smoke it.  This is the first time I've ever seen a fresh one and hold it for myself.  Did a little further cleaning again.  And purposely cleaned this pair of old sofas and washed their covers to make a comfortable sitting place in my craft room. ^^  And had prayer meet.  So thankful for a prayer buddy like her.  We shared and she suggested writing a breakout prayer.  So glad I did it.  Super enjoyed it and recharged.  Looking forward for more  to come :)

ALL are my favourites!!  So awesome!  Forgot to take picture of my lunch though.  So glad to have a proper meal day~! (as in homecooked and nothing processed) ^^  And oh, I tried making coffee jelly at the store.  Got my recipe here:  http://en.ilovecoffee.jp/posts/view/140 Pretty cool site.  I learnt a lot here ^^ And here is the outcome.  Presenting my first attempt of coffee jelly (made using Brewhouse supremo beans brewed aeropress way) topped with whipped cream, espresso grinds, and sugared chocolate powder.  Not bad I would say, not bad ^^ 

Just thought blogging about my day as I want to count and remember blessings I received :) An icy cold Cola from Jessy on a sunny hot day! ^^ My dear sister knows I like this almond M&M which can't be found locally, got her travelling colleague to buy back some..... I needed to fetch my parents from airport late at night and Uncle Dan offered to company me and mom bought me a coffee book!!!! ^^

Blurzzzzzzz. Down with fever, cough and that irritating ear block thingy. Thank God I'm sweating now. Think dat'll get the fever to go away... The cough medicine reminds me of childhood days which I'm thankful, cuz I think I was a lucky lucky kid. Made this little something for ah boy. Wanted to pass to him just now but got to the wrong work place..oops! :p Oh well, no rush i guess, but I just can't wait to give it out~! til then, i think i'm almost out. i guess the medicine is doing its job. Visited grandma to get her some lunch. This little fur-ball is getting bigger and fatter! Watch the Green Hornet by Jay Chou ^^ Honestly I'm not that big a fan when it comes to his action movies, but I have say it was more than I expected, his English esp. This is the thing I love about Jay Chou - he's not afraid to try out new stuff. And here he is with his first Hollywood movie. Too bad gonna miss his concert in KL this March. *prang~!* .... yea, dats the sound of my heart breaking. haha. Oh well, next time la :) Then went to Luzhou for CNY gathering. While jammin', Jason showed us some pretty awesome-goosebumpin' videos. Here are some of them to share with you guys :) Seriously, I never realize Taylor Swift is so darn HOT~! When I listen to his music, I see little wooden cottage in a big green field. Or the shade of a man playing with his dog at sunset. His song has that magic to paint a warm beautiful picture.

Random 1: Friday 11.06.10 Almost forgot to blog about this. Geez, how I can forget something so sweet? My bad :p Anyways, I received new stamps from Marlene!!!! ^^ together with a unique card that has espresso truffles recipe at the back. Hehehe. We are all very busy people, and yet she remembers me when she buy new stamps.... super sweet :D I've always wanted to buy some bible verses stamps.... and God gave me some through an angel ^^ I can't wait to get my hands on them, on cardmaking.... and of course the espresso truffles. Wonder who would wana be my experimental 'white rat'? :p The recipe Random 2: Saturday 12.06.10 I have been coughing non stop for a week now. Dad bought this for me. These are some randoms that I find too precious to forget :) Random 1 (4th May 2010): Dad had tea with an ex partner (and friend) and found out this friend of his helps out with the needy in his church. Right after he come back from tea, dad arranged to get a few packs of rice to contribute to his ministry. It's not much but I think its the thought that counts. I thank God for such a generous dad :D Random 2 (5th May 2010): Mum prepared breakfast. Being an owl, its rare to see her get up so early to prepare breakfast. She prepared garlic toast with fried egg and mushroom. And of course, a cup of Nescafe to go with that. Perfect to get the morning started! :D Random 3 (7th May 2010): Got back home late today after closing to find this on the table. Sweetest thing - the note :) Stuff underneath? Having some other schedules to run to, I couldnt spend much time with grandma today. However, still glad I manage to squeeze out some time for her. Went to her place for lunch and took her out to buy some stuff. I love grandma's home cooked food :) Got a busy week ahead, mainly because I agreed to help out in a praise worship workshop organized by Luzhou. After moving back to Miri, I've been reluctant to serve. But then, I remembered serving is an opportunity. It's not whether 'I want to' serve or not, it's whether 'God wants to' use me or not. Lord, please forgive me for my selfishness. So after time with grandma, got home for some last minute preparation on this....... I know I'm nobody and I don't have enough to offer. However, will try my best. Lord, you know I'm willing. Orait, so much for my quiet lone time today. Time to get into the crowd. Ready? LET'S GO!!

I find little random things happening in my life that I want to share but not sure what category to put them in and what titles to give them. So, I've just decided to categorize them under randoms. Hehehe. When I got to work today, my manager handed me this. My unimates dropped by while I was not working and left me this. Find it kinda sweet and kinda cool. And touched by the thought to keep in touch and come to find me in Starbucks.......after all these years. Miss those uni days... one of the best days I've ever had, one of the best. And today I finally finished my bible reading in Genesis :D This is the first time I survive Genesis and get to enter Exodus. In the past, I just drown together with the rest when God saved Noah during the 40days flood. Haha... With this tiny success, I'm somehow more motivated to go on. Yeah!!
