Jia U Ah!

I made this for my GBOX partner Marlene who is going for a missiontrip in Kazakhstan. Just want to make her a small card to show her my support and to let her know that I'm praying for the trip.  I think its a BIG effort to go on a missiontrip like that.  I used some of my favourite recycled papers.  But seems a bit too much after putting everything together :p  Oh well, hope next try gets better.   Ingredients: Card Stock: Popular Card - Espresso Recycled Paper: As Picture above Stamp: Verve - Joy for the Journey, Philippians 4:13 (designed by Marlene), SU - Sanded Ink: VersaFine - Vintage Sepia Letters: Tim Holtz Alterations - Typeset Punch: SU - Heart to Heart, 1 1/4" circle stamp, 1 3/8" circle stamp Others (No brand): Red buttons, Pink Button, Brown Brads I'm entering this for: Retrosketches #112

So Happy Together

My parents visited their grandson recently and this has been their favourite picture with him having a cute little "GOOD" sign.  And his chubby smile, who wouldn't love him? :)  And so for my mom's birthday card, I decided to make a photocard using the picture and put it on the card (picture coloring a bit off though).  Then I decided to use my favourite papers on it.  Yeah, I save my best stuffs for special people.  And since the paper is so nice already, this turned out to be a pretty quick and easy card. And oh, not to forget to mention, the fun part of the card - I get everybody in the family to stamp their thumb print and I doodled on their prints to represent their signature on the card.  The stamping and doodling part is the most fun part of the card ^^  Ingredients: Card Stock: SU - Crumb Cake Patterned Paper: We R Memory Keepers - Notable, Albums Made Easy Photo: Photobook Malaysia Stamp: SU - Occasional Quotes, Techniqu...
