Award

Woohoo!! My first award!!.... I received this from Marlene yesterday then again from Vivienne today. Actually by coincidence I visited Vivienne's blog and found out I received another one. Wow, what a surprise and such an encouragement ^^ Thanks!!

I did some surfing around these 2 days and surprisingly found a lot of crafters around, locally :) Found many lovely blog and so I guess I have no problem passing this award now :) Well, the bloggers I nominate don't really make cards, but they are all very creative people with lovely blogs. Actually some of them I still don't know personally, but I still think their blogs are lovely and worth awarding. Hehehe.

Ok, here goes. The rules:
1. I have to nominate another 10 bloggers that i really love to visit their blog.

1. Cindy @ Cindy's Crafty Bites - a 17-year-old girl who loves to craft. Her blog makes me feel like she's sunshine to people around her.

3. Agnes @ Dreamland - This is her personal blog. Very lovely. Her handmade beads jewellery are lovely too.

5. Giannigoh @ Giannicarveshop - Very talented girl who carves her own stamp. That is so cool to me.

7. Kiiss @ My Feel Station - An inspired girl who loves to handmake things too

8. Bearlim @ 幸福小熊窝 - Her productions are very cute. Amazingly cute graphics.

9. Mom @ Kid's EE Malaysia - This blog has nothing to do with craft, but my mom is also a craft lover and very very creative person. That's were I got my 'genes' :p Her blog may not be fancy but I think what she's doing for the Lord is 'lovely'

OK.. there we go. Not 10 still but I guess my 'harvest' not bad for these two days where I get to know new people in the community :) Keep up all the good work ladies.

The Power of Positive Thinking

WARNING: This is a Looooooong Post :P I'm reading a book titled "The Power of Positive Thinking" by Norman Vincent Peale. Actually this is a book i bought on 20th July, 2002 and didn't finish it for some reasons that I don't remember. Special Commemorative Cover of President Barack Obama

Got up early today to que for this - Special Commemorative Cover President Barack Obama’s Visit to Malaysia.  President Obama will be the first president of the United States of America to visit Malaysia in nearly half a century (44 years) after President Lyndon Johnson’s visit in 1966.  This edition is only limited to 25000 copies nationwide.  Miri was only given 30 copies.  Dad was the one who told me about this and drove me to buy it.  We went out before 7am, had breakfast and bought some vegies/meat at the market while waiting for the post office to open at 8am.  Enjoyed spending that time with Dad and I'm always touched when he drives me around to run errands.   He helped to que too and in the end we managed to get two copies ^^  I stamped my planner too :p  Isn't it lovely? hehe.
