I'm Thankful For......

For the end of 2008 and beginning of 2009, I listed down the things I'm thankful for in my life. No fancy pictures or graphics for this post, because I think the things I'm thankful for is fancy enough :p (maybe some of you reading this will feel like punching me for being so thick face...hahaha)

Anyways, here goes. I'm thankful for:

1. My family - Nobody's family is perfect but I think I might just have THE best family in the world :)

2. My friends:
Audrey & Grace - My loooooong best friends and God sent angels. Thanks for being there to share my ups and downs. During my hardest times, even just a simple little sms brings the biggest comforts.

Chia - Thank you for your company in KL - dinner, movies, and whenever something is wrong with my car ;p. You are a great friend to hang out with.

Pandan brothers & sisters -Thanks for being my second family in KL. Always look forward to see you guys in the weekends.

YoungDreamz - Thanks for the inspirations to start dreaming 10 years ago. May our dream, in God's will, come true one day.

3. My work - I know I complain a lot about it, but I'm thankful for the soooo many things I've learnt from this company. I'm also thankful I still have a job during this economy crisis.

4. My hobby - I'm thankful for scrapbooking stores in Malaysia!!! woohooo......!! I'm also thankful for the friends I have to send my productions to, who appreciates my work of art. It really gives me huge motivations :)

5. All material stuff that I have - Comfortable environment, freedom of mobility, and many more. I'm always broke, but somehow I always have enough to get by. I suppose God knows how much I need. Hahaha.

6. My broken heart - Yes, I'm thankful for it. God teaches me a lesson that no one else can love me like HE does. Also, I realize I still have many people I treasure in my life. So like a kid waiting patiently for a toy even though he does not understand what his parents are up to (when or what he'll get, and why he needs to wait), I'll wait for my prince that way.

7. Me :) - I'm thankful God created me just the way I am. I tend to have low self esteem all the time, but after today's devotional, God tells me he is perfect and he NEVER makes mistakes. So if he decided to make me this way, then so be it, I should be his perfect choice to be me.

Scrapbooking Stores in Malaysia

Last updated 14th March 2014 I first did this research back in 2008.  I was very surprised and excited to find scrapbooking and craft shops blooming in Malaysia. I'm still grateful that we Malaysians are able to have have access to buy these supplies today.  I hope we will be able to get more and more brands into Malaysia.  ^^ I don't mind sharing these info as I believe "Sharing is Caring" and I would love to see more Malaysian crafters coming out with lovely production to enhance our local crafting market.  Also, I hope you all would pass on the information to other fellow beginners ^^ Anyways, this is a recent update I did of the shops I know/found.  Don't think its complete though.  Some are shops that I've personally found and visited while others are from research and some are recommended by friends or readers of my blog.  And from my very own personal experience, some of my personal favourite shops (in no particular order) are as belo...

The Power of Positive Thinking

WARNING: This is a Looooooong Post :P I'm reading a book titled "The Power of Positive Thinking" by Norman Vincent Peale. Actually this is a book i bought on 20th July, 2002 and didn't finish it for some reasons that I don't remember. Then lately, out of the blue, I took it out to read it all over again, hopefully being able to finish it this time :P Neways, that's the history of the book and me. I'm at chapter 2 now and I came across a very unique practice of a man. It reads: It is possible, even in the midst of your daily work, to drive confident thoughts into consciousness. Let me tell you about one man who did so by the use of a unique method. One icy winter morning he called for me at a hotel in a Midwestern city to take me about thirty-five miles to another town to fill a lecture engagement. We got into his car and started off at a rather high rate of speed on the slippery road. He was going a little faster than I thought reasonable, and I reminded h...

Taiwan (Taipei) Trip 2013

We had a visit to Taipei September 2013, mainly to visit an old friend of my dad, Uncle Nam Boo and his wife.  It was a first time to Taiwan for all of us (mum, dad, sis and me).  Since Aunty Xiao Lan is a local, they KNOW where to bring us, for beautiful places and good food.  They even shared their home with us so we didn't have to worry about accomodation and drove us almost EVERYWHERE, so we didn't have to worry about transport.  Also they applied leave from work so they could bring us around.  We were really touched by their gestures and also we enjoyed spending time with them.  It was such an enjoyable and memorable trip that we all look forward to visit Taiwan again.     I compiled our travel pictures into 2 photobooks (as slides below) and plan to give them one set a thank you gift.  I designed the photobook using Photobook Malaysia  and the Snapshot ready template.  First thought of sharing as pictures, but the...
