Family Night

I was supposed to work closing today but so coincidently a partner switched with me for middle shift. Being an owl, I normally prefer working closing so I can sleep late but somehow today I'm glad I got middle shift then got to spend time with my family at night.

My parents wanted to go to the CNY night market for jalan jalan... The CNY market is a thingy we have in Miri every year. I hate crowds actually and don't really bother about CNY stuff. But its not about the market, its about spending time and walking with them :)

Before jalan jalan, we went for a late dinner. I suggested the restaurant @ imperial - mainly because of the live music there. And coffee there is good :p

Nothing special, just a simple night... but I enjoyed tonight - unexpectedly.
They are AWESOME~! Thanks to Sandy for introducing them to me :)
Snapping some random shots
And then the market
And guess who I bumped into @ the night market... ^^ She was one of my favourite teacher. She's good ... and her class is never boring :) ..... and wow it's been 10 years since I graduated from secondary school....

Scrapbooking Stores in Malaysia

Last updated 14th March 2014 I first did this research back in 2008.  I was very surprised and excited to find scrapbooking and craft shops blooming in Malaysia. I'm still grateful that we Malaysians are able to have have access to buy these supplies today.  I hope we will be able to get more and more brands into Malaysia.  ^^ I don't mind sharing these info as I believe "Sharing is Caring" and I would love to see more Malaysian crafters coming out with lovely production to enhance our local crafting market.  Also, I hope you all would pass on the information to other fellow beginners ^^ Anyways, this is a recent update I did of the shops I know/found.  Don't think its complete though.  Some are shops that I've personally found and visited while others are from research and some are recommended by friends or readers of my blog.  And from my very own personal experience, some of my personal favourite shops (in no particular order) are as belo...

Someone is Praying for You

I'm the 关怀 (caring) in the committee for our church's Youth Fellowship and I hope to promote the "love one another" environment in the fellowship. So I made these little note cards (with words "Someone is praying for you") and plan to play the angel game tonight. Tonight's game will be slightly different. First of all, this is going to last for a month. I made a little form for them to list down their prayer item and each of them will randomly draw each other's names. Whomever you draw, you will have to care for this person for a month. To start with, they can give the note card I've prepared and pray for this person in their daily lives. If they have the initiative to take further steps, I've prepared a post box for them to throw in little gifts or notes through out the month. I've thought of another challenge for them, that is to find out something bout this person that everybody don't know. How to reveal that, I'll blog again n...
