This year, oops I mean last year, I had an abundant harvest :P I received gifts and cards from family and friends. Thanks to everybody who bring joy to my life, especially friends from overseas making an effort to post them to me. I'm always very excited to receive something for me in the mailbox instead of bills and advertisements. Anyways would like to share my happiness with whoever dropping by :) First, with no fail ever since I was born, are presents from my parents. This year I got a nice necklace and bangle. Finally got a necklace to hang my 21st year old "key". Well, a bit too late (not too old, mind you) to wear it after 6 years, but I'm still glad I get to wear it. Hahaha. This year I also had a lovely gift from my sister - Clear Stamps!!!...... So thoughtful of her to get me something I really love and that it was getting near Chinese New Year, she got me something very asian. Lovely~~~ This is the first christmas card I received this year. I like to pack candies for friends and family during christmas, mainly bacause its economical so I can afford to give more. This year I added in a simple little handmade bookmark to the pack as part of the packaging design. I prepared 40 packs for pandan brothers and sisters and then my family (including relatives) in miri. Normally my family would gather every Christmas to celebrate, so I made it like a door gift for everyone who show up this year. I hang them on the christmas tree (don't they look fancy? :p) and everybody could get one before they leave. Hehehe. Actually this serves another purpose - as christmas tree deco, so we saved time to think what to do with the tree. Good de idea leh??? Hahaha.

My pc was down before and during Christmas period, I didnt get to blog for a while. Now that I'm back with my mum's laptop, I still feel like sharing some of my christmas productions, even though most of us are looking forward to the CNY now. Actually I'm still in the christmas mood, wish it was longer though. I had this idea that I wanted to handmake christmas cards for our church missionary partners (both local and international), but ended up got heart but not enough strength (有心力不足 - please bear with my straight forward translation :p). So as the date draw near, I just designed this simple card, get it printed in a shop, got brothers and sisters to sign them and delivered them out as soon as I could. Probably some overseas one were late (only 10 days ahead of Christmas - Oops!!) Anyways, I hope this will bring a little christmas cheer to our partners away from home, working hard for the Lord.

Pandan & Connaught Gospel Chapel will be caroling at Samosa Cafe this Christmas. So if you are in KL, we hope to see you there :)

Met up with Jo and Scott yesterday for dinner. We had Carl's Jr. (THE best burger I think I've ever had so far). After that we took some pictures with the christmas deco. I love Christmas deco. Well, to be exact, I love all things christmas. Hehehe.

Made more cards this afternoon ^^. But looks kinda cacat though, especially the circles. Argh!!... Gonna write down 'round punch' for santa this year. Hahaha.

HO HO HO!... Yep its that time of the year again. With christmas round the corner, I thought I will make some cards for brothers and sisters serving in the missionaries. Got the inspiration from reading purpose driven life - using my talent to serve others, and to be interested in God's works. I used one type patterned paper and 3 blank colored paper (green, red and white), then I mixed and played around with different layouts. Marlene, if you are reading this, hope you don't mind i copied some of your layouts. Hahaha. I find your layouts simple and nice and good to recyle the left overs!! Anyways more cards to come. Will keep 'em posted. Probably I'll post the detailed photos tomorrow. Gotta rush for church now... Oops, I'm late!! :p
