Colors in Postcards

Adding colors seems to give pleasing effect.  Also I realized I love rainbow colors lately but coffee color is still my favourite.  ^^

Handmade Parcel to Taiwan

Teacher Josephine is a dear friend and mentor who has recently moved to Taiwan.  She is always so supportive and encouraging on my works  - buying my cards in bulk and visiting the coffee place I worked a lot before she moved.  Lately she saw my hand drawn coaster for my work place and loved it.  And so I drew half a dozen and delivered it over to her with a simple little card.  Hope the handmade parcel will put a smile on her face :)

Life is....

This is another direct swap postcard.  I checked her profile to see her likes and add the below details to her likings: Animals - I selected an owl because I was having a rather wise quote as the sentiment and owls are wise.... well, supposed-ly :p Tea - I did not send her any tea but I chose one of my handmade recycled paper from Batch #006  which contains jasmine green tea Art - I handmade the card.... making it a piece of art. I do hope she will like this card and I'm entering this for:  Animal Antics Ingredients: Card Stock: Popular Card - Ivory Handmade Recycled Paper: Batch #006 Stamp: AveryElle - Picture It, WPlus9 - Bitty Buddy Valentines, SU - Full of Life Ink: VersaFine - Vintage Sepia, SU - Cherry Cobbler

Let a Smile be Your Umbrella

I had a direct swap request from a postcrosser and I decided to handmade postcards for her since she likes art.  I'm glad she likes the idea too.  Anyways, I used 2 challenges as a direction to make my first card.  Since one of them has the theme of "Umbrella", I decided to try out one of my newly bought second hand stamps with an umbrella.  Looove it!  However, as I was taking the picture in the afternoon with not very good sunlight, the color is a bit off.  Sorry about that.  And so I'm entering this postcard for challenges below: Card Concept #8 - Use an Umbrella Free Style Collage Seize the Sketch #18 Ingredients: Card Stock: Popular Card - Grey, Espresso & Ivory Patterned Paper: Jillibean - Southern Chicken Dumpling Soup Stamp: SU - Font of You Ink: VersaFine - Vintage Sepia Other Materials (No brand): Pink Flower Petals
