Scrap-n-Crop is hosting a 2 days 6 workshops art retreat this coming May. And there is a blog candy for one day pass worth of RM480! Woohoo.... ok, so here is my shot: I want to join Rachel Greig in Scrap-n-Crop.com's ART RETREAT because I can't think of any other way that could be more fun to spend a day than this. I'm feel a bit scared to face this weekend, cuz I know its gonna be all packed and busy. I need to travel a total of 5 long distances trips for different activities at different places, starting Friday night, ending only Sunday evening. And I KNOW I wont get enough sleep then I tend to get stressed and uptight when my schedules are tight. I don't like myself that way. And also, there's a tendency I'll get migraine, the one constant sickness of mine which I'm really fed up of. It's kinda my fault that I didn't arrange things properly. One of these activities which is "in the way" of my plans was the choir practice tonight. Not only its a rush, its really far and inconvenient to go all the way there and back again. Anyone who'd ever stayed in KL before would understand this helpless irritation of being trapped in this inconvenient and time consuming transportation situation. This is my last project for my first order. This will be for the kitchen, which is painted in yellow. When I think of kitchen, I think of my grandma and the cosy warm feeling of someone at home, preparing food for the family ^^. I must have wander off too far as you can see the effect on these frames that the designs are also very "grandma"... oops!. Hahaha. I hope this is not too old fashioned for the new house.

I'm back with more paper crafty productions! Hehehe. Well, my camera is still spoilt.. so I'm using my company's camera (whenever I can grab it) to shoot these pics. Hehehe. Not so nice but better than nothing. I'm gonna 'study' the camera more, I think there is gotta be a way!!.... Okok, so this is my first card in April. This is for my sister's graduation which was yesterday. Hope she likes it though ^^ I bought some wooden hearty pegs from a RM5 Jap store. Forgot the shop name but this is way better than 100 yen. I tried out the peg on this card, and I think the outcome is not bad even though it makes the card a bit bulky. Oh, I love this paper from fancy pants too!..Hehe. This is my latest project - BB freedom strike gundam. Hehehe. Oh well, actually I'm just a rookie in gundam modelling. Don't plan to go deep into it though cuz card making is already a costly enough hobby. Can't afford another expensive hobby like this. But gundam modelling is really really fun. I don't watch the anime nor am I familiar the characters, but I'm fascinated by their mechanisms and the beauty of these freakingly intelligent and creative japanese design. Seriously I don't know how they do it and I'm talking about not just the design of the robot "look" but also other aspects. Let's talk about the looks. Most of their looks (adults / baby version) are great. Nice designs on how edges are formed to give that very "solid" robotic feel. The color matching are also great, mostly striking, bringing out the different characters I suppose. They also have different features and weapons that fascinates me. Like this one I just assem...

I thought of sharing some scriptures in my blog ^^ So I'll 'try to' update this everyday. Actually this is more for myself - 'collecting' scriptures and trying to memorize them as much as I can.
