A Pleasant Evening with Yiing Babeh

I'm super blessed to have 2 best-EST friends :D And all 3 of us agree that our friendship is a miraculous blessing and gift from God. Why? We barely meet over the years (once in 2 years maybe?) and yet somehow our friendship never fades but only grows stronger. Whenever we meet, we never feel the distance and chat like it was yesterday that we've seen each other. ^^ With them, I could be completely transparent and comfortable even when displaying the worst and darkest parts of my life.

Today (22.06.2010), I got to meet up with Yiing after 2 years. Over a cup of chamomile and chrysanthemum tea, we spent our evening with endless chats - of memories 10 years back, present happenings, future plans, and of course, the all time wonder of "wat-if-we-three-were-in-the-same-city" .......Hahaha... All in all, it was a really pleasant evening and I wished it didn't have to end.

Oh, and Yiing got me a gift!..... or should I say...gift[s].. :D She insisted to wrap the present properly before I take a picture. Actually, I opened the present half way in the car, with everything dark and all. Then I decided to open it properly in the cafe so I can take picture :p

I've decided to jot down in this book my ideas/thoughts of something I hold dear in my heart and hoping they will turn into reality one day :) Psst, I've started the first few pages ;p

Scrapbooking Stores in Malaysia

Last updated 14th March 2014 I first did this research back in 2008. I was very surprised and excited to find scrapbooking and craft shops blooming in Malaysia. I'm still grateful that we Malaysians are able to have have access to buy these supplies today. I hope we will be able to get more and more brands into Malaysia. ^^ I don't mind sharing these info as I believe "Sharing is Caring" and I would love to see more Malaysian crafters coming out with lovely production to enhance our local crafting market. Unknown Song without a Title

Wrote this song somewhere end of February 2014, during Charge Up! camp, where I joined a song composing workshop. It was a sweet and thoughtful gift from Ruidi & Sandy. I was in between barista jobs and was struggling financially. While they joined the camp, not only they thought of inviting me, including me in the fun, they offered to pay for my fee. One of the most memorable gifts I've received for no reason. During the workshop, we were given this exercise where we were shown the picture of a pruned tree. We brainstormed words relating the picture and we were asked to compose a song from there. The song below is my take on it, with much help from my facilitators, Ernest and Ming Li, on the lyrics and also the music. To have met and known them have been such a privilege, an honor and one of my greatest inspiration. It's been a while, and I don't know why I chose to journal this here today.
