Praying for You

I received another card order... yay!! Anyways, this is a request to go with a gift for friend who is going through some tough time and who is in need of support and hope.  I'm glad my orders serve such purposes :)  I hope the receiver is comforted by my client and finds strength to continue his journey.  I designed the card using this sketch but not entering for it as I missed the due date to post this (made this five days ago actually).  Anyways, it was still fun playing along with the sketch :)

Happy Birthday to Me / Color Inspiration Challenge #46

Note: This blog candy is now closed. 1st Day in Starbucks

Finally, I stepped over to the other side of the bar as a barista. Woohoo!! My first day in Starbucks! Wow, so many things to learn, so many people to know, so many things to see, observe and remember. This is the most exciting first day ever! I had my first impression (introduction to the company), filled in tonnes of forms, and got a handbook (like an inch thick) which has to be completed within 28 days. Haven't done homework or assignment in years! We did coffee tasting too - Latin American House Blend ^^ Then for the on-the-job training, I got to make 3 cold beverages - vanilla latte, mango passion fruit frap, and ice blended mocha. These names are supposed to be called systematically, which I have yet to learn. And by the way, my whipped cream looked like shit but my training coach said "Ok la!" ^^ Hopefully it wont take too many shitty looking ones until I get it right. Other than that, I had much more practical training on 'sliding' and cleaning. ...
