This is NOT for Sale

This card is not for sale because this is specially made for MY dad :)

Since i'm blogging bout this card, might as well talk about my dad a bit. Hehe. My dad is a very simple minded man. But with what he has done for me, I think he's NOT simple at all. I used to be pretty dependent on my dad in my everyday lie. Why? Well, he was the one who would wake us up for school, make drinks for us before going to school, andsometime prepare our snack (for recess). While at home, he's the one who boils our drinking water at home, does the laundry, washes the dishes and feeds the dogs :) Aside from this household chores, he takes care of the family financial needs, pay our bills, arrange insurance for us (even after we started working). And the list goes on and on.......

I feel kinda bad for not going back this year because I just went back for mother's day. Yea, there's a tendency to remember mother's day more. :P (Yikes!) But in my heart, my dad is the GREATEST dad anyone could have and I treasure him. Happy Father's Day, Ah D!

By the way, where did u get those chinese letters stamps??
I designed all my father's day stamps this year :) I find it hard to find in the market, and also feels more personal (msian) style to design my own words a little.

Scrapbooking Stores in Malaysia

Last updated 14th March 2014 I first did this research back in 2008.  I was very surprised and excited to find scrapbooking and craft shops blooming in Malaysia. I'm still grateful that we Malaysians are able to have have access to buy these supplies today.  I hope we will be able to get more and more brands into Malaysia.  ^^ I don't mind sharing these info as I believe "Sharing is Caring" and I would love to see more Malaysian crafters coming out with lovely production to enhance our local crafting market.  Also, I hope you all would pass on the information to other fellow beginners ^^ Anyways, this is a recent update I did of the shops I know/found.  Don't think its complete though.  Some are shops that I've personally found and visited while others are from research and some are recommended by friends or readers of my blog.  And from my very own personal experience, some of my personal favourite shops (in no particular order) are as belo...

The Power of Positive Thinking

WARNING: This is a Looooooong Post :P I'm reading a book titled "The Power of Positive Thinking" by Norman Vincent Peale. Actually this is a book i bought on 20th July, 2002 and didn't finish it for some reasons that I don't remember. Then lately, out of the blue, I took it out to read it all over again, hopefully being able to finish it this time :P Neways, that's the history of the book and me. I'm at chapter 2 now and I came across a very unique practice of a man. It reads: It is possible, even in the midst of your daily work, to drive confident thoughts into consciousness. Let me tell you about one man who did so by the use of a unique method. One icy winter morning he called for me at a hotel in a Midwestern city to take me about thirty-five miles to another town to fill a lecture engagement. We got into his car and started off at a rather high rate of speed on the slippery road. He was going a little faster than I thought reasonable, and I reminded h...
