Learning to be Thankful

It's been a while since I've updated this blog. Well, been lazy and procrastinating a lot.....Oops :P Neways, was thinking about what to blog. Got some pictures and stuff going to write about, but just lazy to edit pictures. I'm even reluctant to take out my camera and transfer the pictures. Gosh... really need to kill that lazy bug in me!

Anyways, I was surfing youtube and found this on the front page. Inspiring reminder from a kid. And I took a moment to think about things that I'm thankful for.... :)

Here's what I'm thankful for :)

I'm far away from family, but I'm thankful I have a family to miss and a great one of that.

I'm thankful for my job, which I love. I never thought this could happen to me - doing what I love. I'm thankful for good partners, cute customers, and fun work :)

I'm going broke, but I'm thankful I'm not broke YET! ^^ Even though I don't get to shop for materials and tools like I used to, I'm thankful I still get to enjoy card making. Now's the time to be creative! Making beautiful things with limited supplies ^^

I'm thankful for my church. Even though it's forty minutes drive away, there's no other place in KL that could feel more like home.

I'm thankful for all that I have and all that I don't have. After all, I have the most important thing - that is God in my life, and I'm thankful for that. :)

What are you thankful for?

Scrapbooking Stores in Malaysia

Last updated 14th March 2014 I first did this research back in 2008.  I was very surprised and excited to find scrapbooking and craft shops blooming in Malaysia. I'm still grateful that we Malaysians are able to have have access to buy these supplies today.  I hope we will be able to get more and more brands into Malaysia.  ^^ I don't mind sharing these info as I believe "Sharing is Caring" and I would love to see more Malaysian crafters coming out with lovely production to enhance our local crafting market.  Also, I hope you all would pass on the information to other fellow beginners ^^ Anyways, this is a recent update I did of the shops I know/found.  Don't think its complete though.  Some are shops that I've personally found and visited while others are from research and some are recommended by friends or readers of my blog.  And from my very own personal experience, some of my personal favourite shops (in no particular order) are as below: Scr

Unknown Song without a Title

Wrote this song somewhere end of February 2014, during Charge Up! camp, where I joined a song composing workshop.  It was a sweet and thoughtful gift from Ruidi & Sandy.  I was in between barista jobs and was struggling financially.  While they joined the camp, not only they thought of inviting me, including me in the fun, they offered to pay for my fee.  One of the most memorable gifts I've received for no reason.   During the workshop, we were given this exercise where we were shown the picture of a pruned tree.  We brainstormed words relating the picture and we were asked to compose a song from there.  The song below is my take on it, with much help from my facilitators, Ernest and Ming Li, on the lyrics and also the music. To have met and known them have been such a privilege, an honor and one of my greatest inspiration.   It's been a while, and I don't know why I chose to journal this here today.  Just felt like giving my unknown untitled song a home here :)  I'
