Yay! Coffee Card!!!! ^^ Love the multiple stamps too! ^^
This is my first Turkish card. The card shows Ayasofya (Hagia Sophia) which is a former Greek Orthodoxpatriarchal basilica (church), later an imperial mosque, and now a museum inIstanbul, Turkey. From the date of its construction in 537 until 1453, it served as an Eastern Orthodox cathedral and seat of the Patriarchate of Constantinople,[1] except between 1204 and 1261, when it was converted to a Roman Catholic cathedral under the Latin Empire. The building was a mosque from 29 May 1453 until 1931. It was then secularized and opened as a museum on 1 February 1935. (p/s: Text in Italics extracted from Wikipedia)
Initially I thought its some kind of palace or something until I googled it. This is what I love about postcrossing. So much to learn about things all over the world. ^^
And check out this handsome horse!!!! Wow...... wish I could stroke his hair. I kinda just assume is a he huh? hahaha. I especially enjoy reading Claudia's story. Love how she sits in the park doing nothing and enjoying nature. Wish I could find time to do that. Think I should actually!! Also I enjoy reading her sharing of where she lives etc. Last but not the least to mention, I love the stamp of the old train ^^
