Putting Others First

Found myself feeling very guilty for buying KFC home today and tempted my old grandma to eat at her sleeping hour time. Having KFC while watching comedy used to be my utmost relaxing / enjoying thingy to do at home. Neways, lesson learnt, no more KFC at home. For the good of others, I need to cut this enjoyment for myself. Well, probably its good for myself not to eat junk food at this hour too :p

Giving myself away....... not an easy lesson. Setting aside my likes and interest for the benefit of others will be a life-long challenge for me. I'm no Mother Teresa and never will be. But thank you Jesus for such a good example Himself (John 3:16) to encourage me in living a life of sacrifice.

Scrapbooking Stores in Malaysia

Last updated 14th March 2014 I first did this research back in 2008. I was very surprised and excited to find scrapbooking and craft shops blooming in Malaysia. I'm still grateful that we Malaysians are able to have have access to buy these supplies today. I hope we will be able to get more and more brands into Malaysia. ^^ I don't mind sharing these info as I believe "Sharing is Caring" and I would love to see more Malaysian crafters coming out with lovely production to enhance our local crafting market. Happy Birthday to Me / Color Inspiration Challenge #46

Unknown Song without a Title

Wrote this song somewhere end of February 2014, during Charge Up! camp, where I joined a song composing workshop. It was a sweet and thoughtful gift from Ruidi & Sandy. I was in between barista jobs and was struggling financially. While they joined the camp, not only they thought of inviting me, including me in the fun, they offered to pay for my fee. One of the most memorable gifts I've received for no reason. During the workshop, we were given this exercise where we were shown the picture of a pruned tree. We brainstormed words relating the picture and we were asked to compose a song from there. The song below is my take on it, with much help from my facilitators, Ernest and Ming Li, on the lyrics and also the music. To have met and known them have been such a privilege, an honor and one of my greatest inspiration. It's been a while, and I don't know why I chose to journal this here today.
