Calling Grandma

I called home today and talked to grandma. I know she misses me and have a lot to say but at the same time she worries I spend a lot of money on phone bills. I explains to her many times already that my phone package has a minimum amount RM50 that I need to use every month but she never gets it. To her: long distance calls = $$$$. And so today, as usual, she stops me from talking so long.

Grandma: 好了啦。。。没有什么不要讲这样久啦。。。你还要跟谁讲话？ok liao la. Nothing important don't talk so long la. Anybody else you want to talk to?

Shera: 我要跟你讲话. I wana talk to you.

Grandma: ok. 你要跟我讲什么？ ok, what do you wana say to me?

Shera: 婆婆，我爱你！ Grandma, I love you!

Grandma: 嘿，"shin jin bin"! (神经病 in hakka accent). You are crazy! (but I can tell she is smiling one. hehe)

Shera: @.@.................. hahahaha. (then she laughs with me also)

I miss grandma. I miss home. whuu.... whuuu........... :(

Scrapbooking Stores in Malaysia

Last updated 14th March 2014 I first did this research back in 2008.  I was very surprised and excited to find scrapbooking and craft shops blooming in Malaysia. Happy Birthday to Me / Color Inspiration Challenge #46

Note: This blog candy is now closed. 1st Day in Starbucks

Finally, I stepped over to the other side of the bar as a barista. Woohoo!! My first day in Starbucks! Wow, so many things to learn, so many people to know, so many things to see, observe and remember. This is the most exciting first day ever! I had my first impression (introduction to the company), filled in tonnes of forms, and got a handbook (like an inch thick) which has to be completed within 28 days. Haven't done homework or assignment in years! We did coffee tasting too - Latin American House Blend ^^ Then for the on-the-job training, I got to make 3 cold beverages - vanilla latte, mango passion fruit frap, and ice blended mocha. These names are supposed to be called systematically, which I have yet to learn. And by the way, my whipped cream looked like shit but my training coach said "Ok la!" ^^ Hopefully it wont take too many shitty looking ones until I get it right. Other than that, I had much more practical training on 'sliding' and cleaning. ...
