Goodies goodies

Last week was a week of goodies for me ^^ I got the lovely brads from Marlene. Wa... so excited. Dat night, I put them beside my bed and admire them to sleep. Hahaha (ok, crazy I know..)

The next day I got another pleasant surprise... postcard from Beijing!!...... from... Marlene again. Hahaha... Yayaya, you'll see this name often in my blog. Sometimes I don't even feel necessary to do linking already cuz its becoming so common :p Marlene, i'll keep this 'evidence' properly de ^^ My first postcard from China... wa....
And along with the postcard, I received my award from the Show Us Your Sheetload March 09. Can you imagine it, me receiving parcel at work, wondering what it is.. no mood to work.. Hahaha. Apart from the award of micl papers, ribbons and embellishments, Alicia was soo kind and sweet to throw in an idea book from Close to my Heart. WOW...... !! Thank you soo much :) Its a pity I don't have enough time for crafting.... so much ideas but so little time to spare on this... grrrr........ And so these babies joined the brads beside my bedside that night... hahaha..... It's been a week already, but I'm still excited about these babies. ^^

ok... more brads coming to you cause i ordered more! RAINBOW some more :D use till you BLUR BLUR :D will pass to you in Malaysia ya :D

The postcard colours not nice :p poor printing. No choice.. China post office version.

Scrapbooking Stores in Malaysia

Last updated 14th March 2014 I first did this research back in 2008.  I was very surprised and excited to find scrapbooking and craft shops blooming in Malaysia. Happy Birthday to Me / Color Inspiration Challenge #46

Note: This blog candy is now closed. Unknown Song without a Title

Wrote this song somewhere end of February 2014, during Charge Up! camp, where I joined a song composing workshop.  It was a sweet and thoughtful gift from Ruidi & Sandy.  I was in between barista jobs and was struggling financially.  While they joined the camp, not only they thought of inviting me, including me in the fun, they offered to pay for my fee.  One of the most memorable gifts I've received for no reason.   During the workshop, we were given this exercise where we were shown the picture of a pruned tree.  We brainstormed words relating the picture and we were asked to compose a song from there.  The song below is my take on it, with much help from my facilitators, Ernest and Ming Li, on the lyrics and also the music. To have met and known them have been such a privilege, an honor and one of my greatest inspiration.   It's been a while, and I don't know why I chose to journal this here today.  Just felt like giving my unknown untitled song a home here :)  I'
