Color Inspiration #50

This is my try for Color Inspiration #50. I didn't really got exactly that kind of blue but I guess this is worth a shot. There are interesting prizes to be won this time ^^. This card will also be sold together with the other cards tomorrow in Times Square :)

Card Stock: Brazzille - Chantilly, Brown, Tomato

Patterned Paper: Doodle Bug - Blue Jeans Swiss Dot, Doodle Bug - Bumblebee Swiss Dot, Fancy Pants - Splendid Title Strips, Bo Bunny - Back to the Backs

Stamps: Penny Black - Sentiments, Heroarts - Mix & Match

Ink: Versa Color - Black, Versa Magic - Jumbo Java

Embellishments: White small flower, 8mm brown brad

Tools: 1 1/4" Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch

Scrapbooking Stores in Malaysia

Last updated 14th March 2014 I first did this research back in 2008.  I was very surprised and excited to find scrapbooking and craft shops blooming in Malaysia. Happy Birthday to Me / Color Inspiration Challenge #46

Note: This blog candy is now closed. Today (20th March) is my birthday and I'm enjoying every moment of it so far :) I'll blog more about it in my next post. ^^ For my birthday, I have received a lot of wishes, greetings, gifts, cards etc. Its really nice receiving stuff but I figure its also nice giving stuff. Unknown Song without a Title

Wrote this song somewhere end of February 2014, during Charge Up! camp, where I joined a song composing workshop.  It was a sweet and thoughtful gift from Ruidi & Sandy.  I was in between barista jobs and was struggling financially.  While they joined the camp, not only they thought of inviting me, including me in the fun, they offered to pay for my fee.  One of the most memorable gifts I've received for no reason.   During the workshop, we were given this exercise where we were shown the picture of a pruned tree.  We brainstormed words relating the picture and we were asked to compose a song from there.  The song below is my take on it, with much help from my facilitators, Ernest and Ming Li, on the lyrics and also the music. To have met and known them have been such a privilege, an honor and one of my greatest inspiration.   It's been a while, and I don't know why I chose to journal this here today.  Just felt like giving my unknown untitled song a home here :)  I'
