My First Bar Closing

I had my first try in bar closing today. Man that's a lot of stuff to clean!! Thank God for helpful partners. I think I did less than 50% of the job myself *blush*..... Ok, lesson to be continued next time ^^

New coffee - Sumatra peru blend. This is our store's new coffee that goes with our "shared planet promo". This coffee is specially grown in a way that it saves our environment and gives a better future for our farmers ^^..... I don't remember much about the facts though. There's more description for it :P

Our partners all have another identity of their true self once the shuttle is closed. These two are our managers on duty. ^^

And of course, the mamak gathering afterwards.

Scrapbooking Stores in Malaysia

Last updated 14th March 2014 I first did this research back in 2008. I was very surprised and excited to find scrapbooking and craft shops blooming in Malaysia. I'm still grateful that we Malaysians are able to have have access to buy these supplies today. I hope we will be able to get more and more brands into Malaysia. ^^ I don't mind sharing these info as I believe "Sharing is Caring" and I would love to see more Malaysian crafters coming out with lovely production to enhance our local crafting market. Unknown Song without a Title

Wrote this song somewhere end of February 2014, during Charge Up! camp, where I joined a song composing workshop. It was a sweet and thoughtful gift from Ruidi & Sandy. I was in between barista jobs and was struggling financially. While they joined the camp, not only they thought of inviting me, including me in the fun, they offered to pay for my fee. One of the most memorable gifts I've received for no reason. During the workshop, we were given this exercise where we were shown the picture of a pruned tree. We brainstormed words relating the picture and we were asked to compose a song from there. The song below is my take on it, with much help from my facilitators, Ernest and Ming Li, on the lyrics and also the music. To have met and known them have been such a privilege, an honor and one of my greatest inspiration. It's been a while, and I don't know why I chose to journal this here today.
