You are Simply the Best Mother

Decided to give a second attempt to CAS(E) this Sketch #71 and found out about a new challenge (well, for me that is) The Card Concept Challenge #7- Use a Butterfly Theme (Style: Shabby Chic and Vintage).

And here is my attempt. Since mother's day is getting near, I've decided to make a mother's day card. I also challenged myself to use more colors other than brown. Brown is kinda like my default color, always matching with ivory white. After a few tries, I decided to use these warm colors.

Ingredients:
Card Stock: Popular Card Stock
Recycled Paper: Made of Toilet Roll Core and Milk Carton
Stamp: Stampin' Up! - Bliss, Technique Tuesday - Ali Edwards Mom=Love, Stampin' Up! - Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Stamping' Up! Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red

Scrapbooking Stores in Malaysia

Last updated 14th March 2014 I first did this research back in 2008. I was very surprised and excited to find scrapbooking and craft shops blooming in Malaysia. I'm still grateful that we Malaysians are able to have have access to buy these supplies today. I hope we will be able to get more and more brands into Malaysia. ^^ I don't mind sharing these info as I believe "Sharing is Caring" and I would love to see more Malaysian crafters coming out with lovely production to enhance our local crafting market. Happy Birthday to Me / Color Inspiration Challenge #46

Note: This blog candy is now closed. 1st Day in Starbucks

Finally, I stepped over to the other side of the bar as a barista. Woohoo!! My first day in Starbucks! Wow, so many things to learn, so many people to know, so many things to see, observe and remember. This is the most exciting first day ever! I had my first impression (introduction to the company), filled in tonnes of forms, and got a handbook (like an inch thick) which has to be completed within 28 days. Haven't done homework or assignment in years! We did coffee tasting too - Latin American House Blend ^^ Then for the on-the-job training, I got to make 3 cold beverages - vanilla latte, mango passion fruit frap, and ice blended mocha. These names are supposed to be called systematically, which I have yet to learn. And by the way, my whipped cream looked like shit but my training coach said "Ok la!" ^^ Hopefully it wont take too many shitty looking ones until I get it right. Other than that, I had much more practical training on 'sliding' and cleaning. ...
